Most people are familiar with food allergies (a sudden, immediate negative reaction to a particular food). What is less well known is that many people may experience sensitivities: a reaction to foods or chemicals that can occur up to three days after ingestion.
Food sensitivities can cause symptoms including joint pain, gastrointestinal distress (such as IBS), migraines, brain fog and fatigue. If this sounds like you, I can help. I work with my clients to identify harmful food and chemicals, and help you develop a new, healthy approach to eating. My strategies include food sensitivity testing, the FODMAPs diet, and self-guided imagery.

If you suffer from bulimia, then you know the cycle of bingeing and purging. This can have serious health consequences, but if you’re in it, getting out can feel impossible.
I can help show you how to break the cycle of bulimia. We’ll start by evaluating your diet and medical history, and quickly develop a custom plan to help you change. Over time, we’ll work together to problem solve whatever comes up along the way, and explore skills and techniques to help you prevent and recover from relapses.
We’ll also create a healthy, sustainable diet for you.
GENOMIC TESTING AND MENU PLANNING
Your body is unique. Foods that might be good for one person are unhealthy for another. Genomic testing can help us figure out what foods are right for you.
In this day and age, affordable genomic testing can help us personalize the foods and supplements that will build health for you. Learning about your genes can guide choices that will positively impact current specific health issues and markers that indicate potential future concerns.
With test results in hand, we can plan menus including specific foods that will support your health. You’ll feel the results!
