Susan has over 30 years of experience in dietetics and nutrition providing individual and group facilitation, program administration, public speaking, teaching and curriculum design. In her Falls Church private practice she specializes in the treatment of food sensitivities, irritable bowel syndrome, migraines and disordered eating and weight management. She is on the staff of the Full Circle Neuropsychiatric Wellness Center in Reston, VA. The clinic provides a range of services to clients with depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Susan is the former Program Manager for The George Washington University Weight Management Program where she was responsible for leading weekly cognitive-behavioral groups and coordinating the clinic’s other groups and classes. Previous to this position she co-led the Women’s Bulimia Group of Tampa, Florida, and was a behavioral program leader for the Institute of Health Maintenance in Tampa, Florida. In addition to her private practice, Susan is the Site Director for the Virginia Tech Dietetic Internship Program in Northern Virginia.

Susan's professional memberships include the Virginia and American Dietetic Associations. She served on the Board of Directors for the Washington Society for the Study of Eating Disorders and Obesity from 1990-1997. From 2007-2010, Susan served on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Dietetic Association and was the State Policy Representative for the Virginia Dietetic Association.

Susan has a BS in Clinical and Community Nutrition from the University of Florida and a MS in Adult Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist.
